My name is John Gbongitta, I am one of the Directors of People Centred Support limited and the Operations Manager. I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to People Centred Support Limited, a supported living provider committed to delivering personalised support.
With a Master’s degree in social work and extensive experience within local authority community teams, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve independence and inclusion. My role as a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) ensures that every decision made in relation to our clients respects the principles of the Mental Capacity Act and prioritizes the individual’s right and well-being.
In addition to my local authority work, I serve as an OPG General Visitor for the Court of Protection, where I uphold the highest standards of accountability and advocacy for vulnerable adults. This unique combination of frontline practice and statutory responsibilities gives me a deep understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and person – centred planning.
I am passionate about creating environments where people are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. My professional journey has been driven by a belief that every individual, regardless of disability, deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful life and make choices about their own future.
At People Centred Support Limited, we strive to lead by example ensuring that our services are not only compliant and safe but also truly empowering.
